Celebrate Fall with our 6th Annual Boone Pumpkin Picnic on Friday, October 24th!
Lunch Information
Students will get to enjoy a picnic lunch during their regularly scheduled lunch times. Parents are welcome to join their children for the picnic. You may send a sack lunch from home or pre-order a special lunch provided by Sliders and Blues. The lunch will include a Slider and Blues signature cheeseburger slider, apple slices, chips, cookies, and a bottle of water.

The cafeteria will be closed and lunch purchases will not be allowed on the day of the event. Students who do not pre-order a lunch will need to bring their own lunch from home.

Pumpkin Decorating
​
Each student will be going home with a pumpkin on Wednesday, October 8th for your family to enjoy decorating them together in the weeks before the Pumpkin Picnic. Please let your students' creativity run wild and feel free to use any supplies you'd like. This year, each grade will have a theme for their pumpkins:

Second Grade - Holidays
Third Grade - Food
Fourth Grade - Fall

Decorated pumpkins must be returned to school on the morning of Pumpkin Picnic day, Friday October 24th. We will showcase the decorated pumpkins outside the school on the day of the picnic, weather permitting!
