FAMILY GIVING

Our ask is simple: We need each and every Boone family (yes, YOU!) to donate. No amount is too small. Our goal is 100% participation. Your donations provide programming and enrichment activities for our children as well as professional development, instructional materials, and salary support for our teachers and staff.  With your help, the Boone PTO plans to give over $500,000 this year!

WHY IS IT NEEDED?

Nearly 70% of our tax dollars are recaptured by the state and redistributed to lower income districts, leaving us with fewer dollars per student than neighboring districts and resulting in lower pay for HPISD teachers. Our fundraising helps close this budget gap for both our students and teachers.

  • Teacher supplies and instructional materials

  • Classroom technology and instructional software

  • Teacher professional development and graduate degrees
