Surprise 4th Grade Parent Video - Filming Monday, May 10
We want to surprise our fourth graders by filming a fun video of their parents with the fatheads.
Monday, May 10th (rain date: Tuesday, May 11th) at Burleson Park.

Boy Moms: 8:30-9:30am

Girl Moms: 9:00-10:00am
Please do whatever you can to ensure that ONE parent can attend. We will record ourselves performing a simple dance with our fatheads, and will play this video as a surprise for the kids on the last day of school. We will send more details on how to prepare next week. Your fatheads have already been ordered and will be brought to the filming.
Remember, this is a surprise for the kids!

Make Your Mark - Week of May 17th
During school the week of May 17th, the students will have the opportunity to help paint a wall inside Boone to leave a lasting mark on the school! You will not need to do anything for this, since it will happen during the school day.
Car Decorating – Wednesday, May 26 from 2-3pm
Meet in the North Northway Christian Parking lot (off Northwest Parkway) to decorate your car for the pool party and last day of school. We will provide the decorating supplies. This is for parents only... a surprise for the kids!
4th Grade Pool Party – Wednesday, May 26 from 6-8pm
We're excited to give the kids a pool party at the Farmers Branch Aquatics Center, which has big slides, a lazy river, and more. We have the entire facility rented just for our fourth graders! We will provide pizza, cookies, and bottled water.
Parents will drop off their students and return to pick them up. Please arrange your own ride or carpool, but let us know if you need help finding one. Professional lifeguards and a few chaperones will be monitoring the event.
Graduation Picnic & Clap Out – Thursday, May 27 from 11-12:30
We're excited to be able to have an in-person graduation picnic for Boone fourth graders AND parents on the last day of school. This event is only for fourth graders and their parents. Other Boone siblings will remain with their classes, and arrangements should be made for preschool siblings if possible.
Lunch will be provided by The Hamburger Man. Lunch is included for all 4th graders. Parents may purchase a lunch for $10.
RSVP REQUIRED FOR ALL PARENTS!
Schedule of Events:

10:45- Parents are invited to come to the Boone field. Bring a picnic blanket! Each class will have a designated area of the field to put down their blankets. Check in will be at the gate to the field on Durham.

11:00- Fourth graders will come out and join their parents. Lunch will be provided for all fourth graders. Parents may purchase a lunch for themselves as well. Lunches will be delivered to your picnic blanket (no waiting in line).

11:45- We will have a brief recognition ceremony for our fourth graders during the picnic.

12:15- Fourth graders will go back into school with their teachers to gather their belongings and do the clap out through the school. Parents will line the front walkway with our fatheads for the conclusion of the clap out.
